There will be a further eight week public consultation on the Core Strategy in September and October this year.
I was told by a planning officer that by this time the core strategy will be set in stone - not much point to a consultation then really?
Today I would like to issue a challenge.
A challenge to all the groups and individuals that are opposed to the very core of the core strategy.
A very simple challenge:
Use the time between now and September to come together and prepare a real Duchy-wide challenge to this awful process!
In particular I think we need to somehow address the way the consultation in the autumn takes place.
What is needed is an alternative view to be be presented to the public and for funding to be provided in order to present this alternative view.
